Accessibility statement

Hotel Deutscher Hof wants everyone to be able to use this website. This statement applies to www.deutscher-hof.de.

Our service

This website provides information about our hotel in Kassel: rooms, meeting rooms, breakfast and catering, location and directions, and job vacancies. You can book a room online and send a meeting enquiry.

Room bookings are handled by the booking system of our service provider DIRS21, which opens in a new tab. The meeting enquiry is a form in five steps; your details are sent to our meetings office by email.

You can also do both by phone on +49 561 91800 or by email to info@deutscher-hof.de.

Compliance status

The benchmarks are the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and its ordinance, and in technical terms the standard EN 301 549 and with it the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. This website is largely compliant with these requirements.

What we have done

• The website can be operated with the keyboard. A link at the top of each page leads straight to the content.
• Images have descriptions, headings are clearly structured and form fields are labelled.
• The pages adapt to small screens and to high zoom levels.
• You can pause the video on the home page and on the meetings page. If your device is set to “reduce motion”, you will see an image instead of the video.
• The website is available in German and in English.

What is not yet accessible

• Online booking is provided by our service provider DIRS21. We have no influence on its design. If you have difficulty using it, we will gladly make the booking for you: phone +49 561 91800, email info@deutscher-hof.de.
• Some linked PDF documents from other providers are not accessible.

How this statement was prepared

This statement was prepared on 12 October 2026. It is based on our own assessment in October 2026: an automated check of all pages and a manual check. We will assess the website again whenever we make substantial changes to it.
